Connecticut based Michael Trapp is someone who's work you cannot forget - in only the best way. His romantic use of architectural elements, fabrics, paintings, and of course furniture is really curated like an artist. I was so happy to accept a sought after invitation to one of the designers "Seaon Openers" on a recent Spring evening.

Anyone looking for design inspiration, in any creative field should plan a trip to his West Cornwall shop. The town itself is like a storybook set with a covered bridge, rushing river, cafes, shops, and foggy mountains just off to the side... I promise you will never forget it. NYC PREWAR ARCHITECTURE - UNIQUE PERSPECTIVES

PRE-WAR GLAZED CERAMIC URN DETAILS ON THE ROOFDECK OF LONDON TERACE TOWERS IN WEST CHELSEA, NY With the extreme hustle and bustle that makes New York hum with energy, it's easy to miss some of the most important details in the city. The details that are up in the air - sort of. With so many prewar buildings that set a standard decades ago with extreme attention to details, the stunning architecture should not be missed. Of course many of the most spectacular views are reserved for the lucky few that live in some impeccably maintained buildings. One such building is London Terrace Towers in West Chelsea. The building is quite frankly massive. It spans one entire city block from 23rd to 24th street from 9th to 10th avenue. It's slightly confusing as the 4 corner buildings are referred to as London Terrace Towers and the buildings along 23rd and 24th street are called London Terrace Gardens. The towers are Private Co-ops, and the Gardens are rental apartments. All are 24hour doorman buildings, all have a list of amenities. Of course, the buildings have been home to a list of celebrities and celebrated cultural icons for years. From rock stars to movie stars - many call London Terrace Home. Palace Hotel, San Francisco - a Luxury Collection Hotel - bar raised!

The Palace Hotel in San Francisco has just undergone a multi-multi million dollar renovation, and this famous property built in 1875 has truly re-emerged like a butterfly from a cocoon. The luxe details and rich textures, colors, and fabrics the design team chose are incredible. So Chic, so welcoming, and so inviting. Not stuffy or pretentious, but luxurious and charming. #PalaceHotel

I have two favorite hotels in San Francisco - The Westing St. Francis and The Palace They are both historic properties and it's really like choosing your favorite between children. I'm torn every time I make reservations as a frequent visitor to the City by the Bay. With this breathtaking renovation, it just made my decision a little easier.

The historic property has always had generous common areas, high ceilings, wide hallways, etc.. so my previous stays were always restful and rejuvenating - but seeing these upgrades and additional luxuries added.. it's really impressive.

The super stylish, chic, and all around lovely - Julia Haney Montanez of the AD Home Design Show gave us a peek into Furniture Artisan Christophe Pourny's renovated apartment in the famed London Terrace Towers in Chelsea, NY. Pourny, one of NY's most sought after design professionals authored "The Furniture Bible", published by Artisan Books last November. The book, a cross between a DIY furniture resoration guide and a beautiful coffee table book has been on fire since it's release. Brooklyn's Industry City has become a creative center and melting pot for so many professionals and artists working with paint, food, furniture, fashion, and more. WANTED X DESIGN returns this weekend with this showcase of global design. Saturday night (May 9th) is the official launch party.
